Meet Eoghain McLaughlin, an Aerodynamics expert at Williams F1 Team.

Eoghain's 3-minute mission is to work on aerodynamics, helping the team to improve their car's performance.

In this role, you will work closely with the aerodynamics team to design and develop aerodynamic components, analysing data to identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop aerodynamic components, including wings, diffusers, and other devices
• Analyse data from wind tunnel tests and computational fluid dynamics simulations to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with the aerodynamics team to develop and implement new aerodynamic concepts
• Work with the manufacturing team to ensure that aerodynamic components are manufactured to the required specifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Experience in aerodynamics, either through academic projects or industrial experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with computational fluid dynamics software, such as OpenFOAM or ANSYS Fluent
• Knowledge of aerodynamic testing methods, including wind tunnel testing and computational fluid dynamics simulations
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials
