Description
As a Sr Game Mathematician II at Aristocrat, you will be responsible for building, developing, and documenting mathematics for slot and instant-win games. Your tasks will include creating pay tables, probability models, and simulations to define RTP, volatility, and hit frequency, ensuring balance between player entertainment and commercial targets.
In addition, you will run detailed simulations to validate math performance and regulatory compliance, optimising math models based on game performance data and player feedback. You will collaborate with game designers to ensure mathematical models align with game concepts, mechanics, and features, and work closely with developers to build, integrate, and validate math models within the game engine.
You will also assist QA teams in testing and validating game outcomes to confirm alignment with mathematical design expectations, prepare detailed math documents for internal review and certification labs, and ensure all models align with the rules and standards of supervised markets.
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field, with shown experience crafting math models for slot games or similar. You will require strong probability, combinatorics, and statistical modelling skills, experience with simulation tools such as Excel, Python, or R, and excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight schedules.
