Description
As the Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading, monitoring, and supervising a group of employees to achieve goals that contribute to the daily aspects of the business. You will motivate and inspire your team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding between team members, and demonstrates flexibility.
Your duties will include instruction, direction, and undertaking of day-to-day cleaning tasks to help achieve a specific goal and standards within the building and surrounding areas. You will also complete any other associated tasks requested by management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking day-to-day cleaning tasks set out by management
- Communicating goals and deadlines to team members
- Assisting with appropriate training
- Planning workloads and delegating tasks
- Ensuring paperwork is completed in a timely manner
- Assessing team performance and providing feedback to employees
- Assisting with the daily operation and any ad-hoc tasks
- Ensuring that all team members are familiar with and adhere to the Company's Policies and Procedures.
You will also be responsible for investigating accidents or incidents and revising risk assessments where necessary. Additionally, you will provide sufficient cover and allocate cleaning tasks during periods of staff absence or holidays, monitoring attendance, communicating any staffing issues immediately to your Soft Services Manager, and responding to all requests within a reasonable time frame as required.
