Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at Marshfield Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
Your responsibilities will include conducting examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease. You will also develop and implement physical therapy programs, educate clients/patients/residents and their families about treatment plans and self-exercises, and document client information for evaluation.
You will work collaboratively with a large interdisciplinary rehab team to manage complex and diverse patient needs. You will also have the opportunity to participate in activities to promote the department, Good Samaritan Society, and Sanford Health.
Requirements:
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
- Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist
- When applicable, may require valid driver's license
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment
