Description
The Senior Vice President of Customer Solutions will lead Okta's team of Solution Engineers, Field CTOs, Architects, and Specialists to drive global growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and growing a world-class team to exceed revenue targets
- Defining and executing strategy to achieve Okta's long-term mission
- Interacting with customer executives to exceed expectations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product roadmap
- Developing and fostering a high-performance culture
- Retaining, attracting, and growing the Presales team
- Overseeing Presales Enablement and partnerships
- Representing Okta in technical PR activities
- Providing escalation support for technical issues
- Leading development and maintenance of tools and processes
- Managing a $100M+ global budget
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs
- Contributing to product development and enhancements
Requirements:
- Industry knowledge of security product market trends
- Experience in large enterprise engagements and high-velocity sales
- Proven success selling platform solutions
- Strong reputation with customers as a trusted advisor
- History of recruiting and developing high-performing teams
- Ability to drive accountability and create an evolving strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 20+ years of experience in sales engineering or systems engineering
- Excellent knowledge of security, identity, and infrastructure technologies
- Demonstrated success working with Fortune 1000 companies
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to travel frequently (~30%)
The annual On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this position varies by location:
- San Francisco Bay area: $614,000-$844,000 USD
- Other locations: $548,000-$754,000 USD
