Pre/post RN

Join Advocate Health as a Pre/post RN in Greensboro, North Carolina. This full-time role offers a salary range of $35.50 - $53.25 per hour and 40 hours per week.

As a Pre/post RN, you will engage in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring patient conditions and adjusting care plans
• Collaborating with the care team to influence care outcomes
• Upholding and promoting a culture of safety
• Continuously evaluating patient, team, and unit outcomes
• Administering medications, treatments, and therapies safely
• Demonstrating effective communication and conflict resolution
• Pursuing professional development and maintaining certifications

Requirements:

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
• Active, unrestricted registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Typically 1 year of experience in clinical nursing
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
