We're looking for an Engineering Manager – Electrical Engineering to lead a team of talented engineers developing and integrating the avionics and electrical systems that power our next-generation aircraft, X-BAT. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys mentoring engineers, and is passionate about delivering reliable, high-performance systems from concept through production.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead aircraft and ground vehicle integration of custom electronics, sensors, actuators, payloads, and other flight critical sub-systems
  • Demonstrate cross-functional ownership engaging with all X-BAT teams, including manufacturing, operators, supplier development engineering, supply chain, mechanical, thermal, etc.
  • Contribute to aircraft and ground vehicle architecture design
  • Drive design and execution of flight critical custom avionics
  • Build, lead, and mentor a world-class avionics engineering team
  • Establish and enforce appropriate design processes
  • Maintain technical excellence,implement rigorous design processes and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
  • 3+ years of lead/manager experience
  • Strong technical fundamentals
  • Experience with custom electronics design and system level integration
