About this role: This is a hands-on, onsite role at our Mountain View headquarters. As Office Manager, you are the steady force that keeps the office running and the team supported. This is an early-start role for someone with high energy who takes pride in being the ultimate support staff member,a doer who keeps things moving day-to-day rather than focusing on high-level strategy.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office functions, including supply inventory, mail, office cleaning and organization, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate with building management to address facility-related issues and ensure a safe, clean, and functional workspace.
- Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and document preparation across departments.
- Book and coordinate company events, meetings, and team-building activities, handling logistics to execution.
- Support a positive people experience, contribute to a workplace where employees feel welcomed and supported.
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring information flows smoothly across the organization.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in office management or administrative roles, preferably in a tech or startup environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in office software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- A natural doer who takes ownership and is accountable for seeing work through to completion.
- Takes initiative without being asked,notices when something is undone, unclean, or out of order and acts on it.
- Prepared and enjoys starting the day organized and ready.
