Legal Program Manager, Compute & Infrastructure

Anthropic is seeking a Legal Program Manager to manage procurement and vendor agreements for the Compute and Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will build scalable contracting processes, manage a high volume of transactions, and collaborate with business units and legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage a high volume of compute and infrastructure procurement transactions
• Own and administer the contract lifecycle management system
• Design and run intake and triage processes
• Propose and develop scalable solutions to improve contracting efficiency
• Collaborate with business units and legal team members
• Build reporting, dashboards, SLAs, and metrics
• Deploy LLM and AI tooling to scale contracting throughput

Requirements

• Experience operating in a fast-paced technology startup
• Initiative and autonomy in managing complex contractual matters
• Understanding of contract importance and fluency
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly
• Preference for straightforward explanations over legalese
• Knack for identifying and implementing efficient processes
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Comfort operating outside areas of expertise
• Hands-on experience with contract lifecycle management or legal-operations tooling
• Comfort using AI and LLM tools

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years in contract management, legal operations, or procurement operations
• Experience implementing or administering a contract lifecycle management platform
• Working familiarity with infrastructure, datacenter, hardware, construction, or telecom/network procurement and vendor contracting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Motivated self-starter able to multitask and juggle multiple priorities
• Authentic integrity and deep understanding of ethics in business

Compensation

The annual compensation range for this role is $285,000-$340,000 USD.
