Physical Therapist Assistant - PRN

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join their team.

The successful candidate will assist patients with therapy activities and exercises scheduled in a treatment plan, under the supervision of a physical therapist, to improve patients' quality of life and ability to perform daily activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing, monitoring, and recording therapy services to patients with physical, cognitive, and developmental impairments
• Selecting, implementing, and modifying therapeutic activities and interventions consistent with demonstrated competency levels and patient goals
• Exchanging information with and providing documentation to the physical therapist about patient responses and communications during intervention
• Being knowledgeable about patient-targeted physical therapy outcomes and providing information and documentation related to outcome achievement
• Following and adhering to accepted clinical practice guidelines of the professional organisation

Requirements:

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
• Graduate of an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment
• Valid driver's license when applicable

Salary Range: $24.00 - $38.50
