Service Technician Test Stand Technology

We are seeking a Service Technician Test Stand Technology to join our team at AVL Deutschland GmbH in Munich. As a Service Technician, you will work with modern test technology in a clean and well-equipped environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the test stands at BMW run smoothly, working closely with a young team that values strong collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and error correction on measurement, control, and electrical technology of test stands
• Working in the voltage range (switchgear, battery simulation, power electronics)
• Testing, measuring, and wiring of assemblies and components
• Processing service tickets in the BMW system (accepting orders, evaluating, providing feedback)
• Independent maintenance and repair work on test stand technology and electrical technology
• Collaboration on conversions and expansions of test stands within new projects

Requirements:

• Completed training as an electronics technician (e.g., for operating technology, automation technology), or comparable qualification
• Practical experience working with electrical systems and in the voltage range, safe handling of measuring and testing tools
• Careful, safety-conscious working style and high-quality standards
• Pronounced service and solution thinking, as well as enjoyment of error searching and analysis
• Team-oriented, open personality with a desire for a long-term perspective in a stable environment
• Good German language skills in writing and speech
