Data Scientist (Production & Quality focus)

We are seeking a Data Scientist with a focus on Production and Quality to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will contribute to and lead global Data Science projects in the production and quality space, enabling stakeholders to make better data-driven decisions.

You will work closely with other team members and production, quality assurance, and risk management stakeholders to build, run, and improve data science products. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering projects as part of existing Data Science service lines, with a key focus on production and quality stakeholders
• Driving innovation and proposing new ways of generating value for stakeholders
• Building close relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting the Data Science management team with impact tracking, project and pipeline planning, and internal trainings

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Data Science or a related field
• Master's or Doctorate in a relevant field, such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Science
• Good command of English, both spoken and written; German is a strong plus
• Programming skills in at least one of R, Python, or SQL, with the ability and willingness to learn the other two
• Data Literacy: ability to curate and present data in a way that allows stakeholders to quickly understand key patterns, insights, and implications for decision-making
• Statistical Reasoning: theoretical and applied understanding of Stats, Probability, and ML Algorithms
• Technical Literacy: applied understanding of modern computing
• Presentation Skills: ability to present coherent data stories at the appropriate level of abstraction
• Stakeholder Management: skilled at building mutually beneficial connections with functional stakeholders
• Pragmatic Critical Thinking: intuitively considering relevant costs/benefits in all decisions
• Outcome Driven: highly motivated to add value and demonstrate impact to the organisation
• Scientific Reasoning/Scoping: ability to define and formulate new questions
• Grit: proven capability to see things through to the end
