Description
Be the consummate host by ensuring the highest standard of repair and maintenance of upholstered furniture, curtains and trims in passenger cabins, public areas and crew accommodation spaces.
This role works in a cost-efficient manner and in compliance with Company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain all upholstered areas, curtains and trims onboard through the use of established quality upholstery techniques and practices as directed by the reporting officer.
Respond to authorised upholstery defect reports in an efficient and timely manner.
Provide a positive first impression through a warm greeting and professional appearance.
Keep the workplace clean and organised, treating all working tools with care.
Work with supervisors and peers to ensure sufficient spare parts are maintained onboard at all times.
Maintain accurate daily work reports.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Successful candidates will have accrued at least 12 months' experience working as an upholsterer or similar industry role.
Upholstery background with preferable ship experience, shipyard or workshop ashore.
Skills and knowledge in operating upholstery equipment and machinery.
Understand the foundations of customer service and have the ability to deliver outstanding service to our passengers.
Motivation to excel in all aspects of job duties and responsibilities.
Willingness to embrace all company values and lead by example.
