The team is responsible for architecting and maintaining scalable MarTech solutions, with a focus on data integration, customer journey orchestration, and marketing automation. This team operates within the Data, Tech, and Operations tower of the Direct BU.
The Marketing Automation & Integration Engineer centers on the implementation and optimization of a MarTech data flow pattern involving Snowflake, Segment, Braze, and other SaaS platforms. Key responsibilities include:
- Design and maintain data pipelines between Snowflake, Segment CDP, Braze, and additional platforms
- Implement real-time and batch data ingestion strategies
- Manage customer event tracking and identity resolution within Segment
- Orchestrate personalized marketing campaigns in Braze using dynamic segmentation and behavioral triggers
- Ensure data integrity and feedback loops from Braze back into Snowflake via Segment
- Automate data transformations and enrichment using scripting languages
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot integration issues across platforms
