Description
We're looking for an experienced Transport Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Traffic Office in Ipswich. You'll be responsible for a 30+ vehicle fleet and 34 drivers, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient transport operations while driving performance and customer service.
This is a hands-on leadership role with real responsibility and impact. You'll lead and motivate drivers, dispatchers, and operatives across multi-shift operations, manage fleet compliance, vehicle safety, and operator licence requirements, and drive KPI performance across safety, service, and cost control.
Our essential requirements include proven experience in transport or logistics management, a National CPC qualification, strong knowledge of transport, environmental, and H&S compliance, and commercially-minded experience managing costs and performance.
