Description
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior PCB Designer, High-Speed Digital to join their team. As a Senior PCB Designer, you will work directly with engineers to produce printed circuit board designs supporting all Anduril's products. You will apply modern design standards and guidelines to create high-reliability, highly manufacturable assemblies, and implement combinations of high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power designs. You will also lead the team in establishing internal guidelines for design for manufacturing (DFM) and quality fabrication and assembly outputs, develop and refine team processes for PCB design, part creation, and library/database standards, and work in a fast-paced environment, having to juggle multiple concurrent projects and customers.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience in PCB Layout or Design, a full understanding of PCB Layout techniques to meet mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements, and the ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices appropriate for each design. They will also have expertise in applying relevant IPC standards, CID, CID+ certification, experience using Altium Designer CAD tools, experience with developing component libraries and library management, proven experience in high-speed digital PCB layout for complex FPGA boards, high-resolution video, or multi-gigabit interfaces (e.g., DDR, PCIe, SerDes), and excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar, and experience working within a company and team culture.
