Description
The Team Lead, Workday Solutions is a managerial role that leads the Workday Solutions team and drives system optimization and strategic enhancements across global People Experience (PE) processes.
The role reports to the Manager, People Operations & Workday Solutions and requires at least three days per week in the office. It combines people leadership with deep functional expertise in Workday.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Workday Solutions team, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management.
- Oversee service delivery, resolving advanced Workday cases, complex PE transactions and global requests.
- Be the primary escalation point for critical Workday issues, regulatory matters, and data integrity risks.
- Collaborate with the People Experience Information Technology team to scope, test and deploy system enhancements, automation projects and new functionality.
- Establish and maintain governance and compliance practices.
- Be a strategic partner to People Services, People Operations, COEs, IT, and regional PE teams.
- Lead change management efforts for Workday releases, upgrades, and process changes.
- Advocate for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in HRIS, HR Operations, Shared Services, or People Systems, with expertise in Workday.
- 2+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced Workday configuration, troubleshooting, and global process management.
- Experience leading Workday-related projects such as system upgrades, integrations, enhancements, or global deployments.
- Understanding of governance, compliance, and data quality best practices within enterprise systems.
