You are an experienced and passionate Analog Methodology Engineer with a deep understanding of mixed-signal circuit design principles and emerging AI/ML technologies. Your hands-on experience with transistor-level simulations, reliability analysis, and static timing analysis (STA) tools sets you apart. You are proficient in scripting and automation, enabling you to streamline design processes and mentor junior engineers. You have experience with AI/ML and understand how to apply machine learning techniques to analog circuit optimization. Your knowledge spans across various analog and mixed-signal circuits, and you have a strong background in silicon IP release requirements. Your communication skills are top-notch, and you are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with a cross-functional team of analog and mixed-signal circuit designers on design and methodology.
  • Integrating AI/ML techniques and large language models (LLMs) into analog design workflows for enhanced automation and optimization.
  • Conducting transistor-level simulations and reliability analysis to ensure the robustness of designs.
  • Utilizing static timing analysis (STA) tools to validate and optimize circuit performance.
  • Developing and automating design flows using programming languages such as Python, Perl, TCL, and C/C++.
  • Leading and mentoring junior engineers to become proficient in new methodologies and best practices.
  • Driving the integration of high-speed PHY designs such as SERDES, DDR, or HBM into SoCs.

  • Ensuring seamless integration of our IP into customer SoCs, reducing integration risks and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field; MSEE or PhD preferred.
  • 18-25 years of experience in IC design with a BSEE degree, or 15-18 years with an MSEE or PhD.
  • Extensive programming skills in Python, Perl, TCL, and C/C++.
  • Extensive AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with spice simulators including HSPICE, PrimeSim/FineSim, and XA.
  • Deep knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuit design principles and methodologies.
