Description
A Deployment Strategist at Palantir is responsible for uncovering dots and connecting them to turn a customer's hunch into reality. The role involves working with customer teams, exploring data, and diving into product landscapes to enable scaling. Deployment Strategists are self-starters who immerse themselves in customers' workflows and partner with customer teams to identify relevant datasets. They work with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate data into a stable and extensible pipeline. Responsibilities include going onsite to meet with customer analysts, identifying relevant datasets, working with customers to build bespoke workflows, leading training sessions, presenting results, and embedding with Software Engineering and Product Design teams.
As a Deployment Strategist, you can expect to go onsite and meet with customer analysts to understand critical questions they need to answer and locate their biggest pain points. You will identify relevant datasets through deep engagement with customer problems and workflows, and work with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate the data into a stable and extensible pipeline. You will work with the customer to build bespoke workflows for new user groups, lead training sessions to ensure that the product is meeting user needs, and present the results of your work and proposals for future work to audiences ranging from analysts to C-suite executives.

Extraordinary ability to take on open-ended problems in unstructured environments Adaptive and introspective; willing to learn, teach, lead and follow Experience with programming, scripting or statistical packages (e.g. Python, R, Matlab, SQL) is a plus
