Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) - Lexington Float Pool works within the Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical Unit, Post-Surgical Unit, and Critical Care Unit (CCU) at Lexington Medical Center, providing staffing support across multiple inpatient and emergency care areas.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS are required within 6 months of hire.
- 2 years of RN experience preferred.
