Head of Government Relations & Policy Campaigns, Italy

The Head of Government Relations and Policy Campaigns, Italy will lead Airbnb's public policy efforts in Italy, developing and executing strategic engagement plans to protect and further the legitimacy of Airbnb and its community.

The successful candidate will use all available strategies, informed by data and insights, to achieve policy goals and priorities in partnership with the local team and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading a team of experts in Policy and Strategic Engagement
• Developing and executing integrated policy strategic engagement plans
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, marketing, legal, and communications
• Representing Airbnb at senior political levels and with the media
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements:

• At least 20 years of experience working with complex political or regulatory issues
• Advanced knowledge of the political landscape and legislative processes in Italy, Greece, and the EU
• Senior leadership experience, with a track record of managing diverse multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent strategist, creative thinker, and expert communicator
• Fluent Italian and English, with an additional European language an asset

This role is located in Rome, with frequent travel to countries in SEE and Brussels, and to our global headquarters in San Francisco.

The annual pay range for this role is €132,000 - €165,000 EUR.
