Description
We're looking for an experienced backend software engineer to join our Live Pay team. As a senior software engineer, you'll work cross-functionally with various teams and contribute to the design and development of key platform services. You'll drive the design and implementation of new features, break down complex problems into their bare essentials, and create high-quality, maintainable code. You'll make a meaningful impact on the lives of our community members and collaborate with other engineers while providing thoughtful guidance using code, design, and architecture reviews.
Our ideal candidate has 4+ years of development experience in software engineering, proficiency in at least one JVM programming language, and experience with major frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot. They should also have hands-on experience with SQL databases, cloud environments, and streaming and messaging technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
As a remote position, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere, although it could also be a hybrid role from our Mexico City office.
