Job Title: Galley Steward - SP

As a Galley Steward with Princess Cruises, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our galleys and service locations. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and embark on a career adventure like no other!

Responsibilities:

• Follow Princess Cruises' operational methods and seek advice from the Galley Supervisor if necessary.
• Follow USPHS principles and Princess Cruises procedures at all times.
• Work as part of a cleaning team responsible for consistently cleaning and sanitizing specific galley equipment and service locations.
• Recycle cooking service equipment before, during, and after service.
• Assist when required to unload and store food deliveries.
• Participate in scheduled deep cleaning in addition to everyday cleaning operations.
• Treat all equipment used during the cleaning process and all equipment to be cleaned with care to prevent damage.
• Report equipment defects to the Galley Supervisor / Executive Chef / Food Manager on a daily basis.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

• Thorough knowledge of USPH practices and procedures.
• Good oral and written command of the English language.
• Experienced in cruise ship industry galley operation.
• Working knowledge of scientific cleaning and sanitation procedures for the food service industry.
