Description
We are seeking a Principal Architect for SoC and System performance modelling to join the NVIDIA Architecture Modeling group.
In this role, you will work with world-class architects on modeling, analysis, and validation of chip and system architectures and features that advance the state of the art in performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Model and analyze SoC and Systems algorithms and features
- Work in a matrixed environment across different modeling teams to document, design, develop tools, and validate models
- Familiarize yourself with different models used at NVIDIA and help with feature implementation as required
- Develop tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new architectures and features
- Mentor early engineers and help sustain good coding practices
- Learn about newer modeling techniques and frameworks, evaluate the best solution for our needs, and drive change
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- 15+ years of relevant work experience or MS with 12+ years of experience or PhD with 7+ years of experience
- Strong programming ability in C++, C, and familiarity with build systems, toolchains, and libraries
- Computer Architecture background with experience in modeling with C++ and/or SystemC (TLM) and familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Python, and Perl
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
