We are seeking a Medical Office Specialist to join our team at Osceola Allergy and ENT in Kissimmee, FL. As a Medical Office Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our medical staff, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling phone calls and correspondence.
This is a full-time position, working days only (no weekends). You will be joining a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to medical staff, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Handle phone calls and correspondence, including answering patient questions and responding to medical inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and medical information
- Assist with data entry and record-keeping tasks as needed
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical software applications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
