Job Title: Ocean Operations Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Ocean Operations Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations in the Asia Pacific region.

The Opportunity:
As an Ocean Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for executing booking and documentation processes with clients and carriers. You will also be involved in timely shipment troubleshooting and exception escalation, working closely with our account management and planning teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end export process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute booking and documentation processes with clients and carriers
- Timely shipment troubleshooting and exception escalation
- Work closely with Flexport's account management and planning teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end export process
- Plan and execute special freight operations (e.g. DG, reefer, etc)
- Assist in new business and process implementation, new projects, and new tasks
- Support internal and external clients in making informed decisions using your expertise
- Live and act with integrity, upholding Flexport's values and sustaining a high bar for operational quality and service
- Inform the business process and software capability needs to help scale our growing team while improving quality, service, efficiency, and regulatory compliance
What You Will Need:
- A Bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years of prior experience in logistics, warehousing, freight forwarding, supply chain, or consulting (fresh graduates with a strong academic record may also be considered)
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken)
