Construction Superintendent (Night Shift) – Structural

You will oversee structural contractors and crews building the advanced structural infrastructure for xAI's Memphis Data Center, including deep foundations, concrete slabs, and structural steel framing.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate structural installations during night shift hours
• Manage and schedule structural contractors, subcontractors, and on-site crews
• Ensure all contractors adhere to structural scope and quality standards
• Monitor daily night-shift progress and maintain detailed logs
• Develop and enforce aggressive construction schedules
• Champion and enforce xAI's safety program
• Lead, train, and supervise foremen and structural crews
• Proactively resolve on-site challenges
• Conduct regular night-shift site inspections
• Prepare and present clear progress reports

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years managing structural construction teams
• 3+ years of direct hands-on experience in structural work
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Postsecondary diploma or degree in construction management, civil/structural engineering, or related field
• Proven track record supervising structural construction for data centers or similar mission-critical environments
• Familiarity with Memphis-area building codes and structural regulations
• Experience with construction management software
• Deep knowledge of structural construction critical paths and sequencing
