Service Desk Analyst

We are seeking a Service Desk Analyst to support key day-to-day processes, including technical support for software and hardware, configuring Windows, Linux, and Apple computers, and assisting with various upgrades across the Anduril tech-fleet.

You will provide on-site and remote technical support for software and hardware, handle tickets in the Jira Service Management system, identify persistent problems and recurring failures, and escalate to the engineering team as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for software and hardware
• Handle tickets in the Jira Service Management system
• Identify persistent problems and recurring failures and escalate to the engineering team
• Configure Windows, Linux, and Apple computers with the latest software updates, device management, and the Anduril security stack
• Manage inventory and assets of all endpoint hardware
• Support and administer licenses for end-user software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, Lucid, and Matlab
• Identify knowledge articles and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for end-users and internal IT
• Assist with ongoing operational improvements and implementation projects as needed

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a service desk technical role
• Excellent knowledge of PC and Apple hardware
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with a ticketing system and managing a ticket queue
• Must participate in a weekly on-call rotation
• Must be able to travel if necessary
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Linux
• Experience with AWS Virtual Workspaces
• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM)
