Description
As a physical therapist at Sanford Health and Good Samaritan Society, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating individuals with conditions that limit their ability to move and work. Our physical therapy treatment plans require flexibility, collaboration, out-of-the-box thinking, and problem-solving to provide our patients/residents the best care that pushes them to the highest level of physical function.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, organising, and delivering physical therapy programmes that help patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities
- Documenting patient's/resident's information for evaluation
- Educating patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home
- Demonstrating documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and meeting all regulatory requirements
- Analysing and recording the therapeutic progress of patients/residents; recommending necessary adjustments
- Following guidelines, regulations, standards, and safety procedures in the therapy process
To be successful in this role, you will need to have appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure, be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist, and obtain and subsequently maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
