Description

As an Equity & Finance Analyst in our rotational ('RAMP') 12 month program, you'll work to automate real financial processes using AI tools, scripting, and CLI-based workflows. You'll support customers through deliverable and client-facing work on 409A valuations, tax reporting, fund implementations, and portfolio data collection. You'll identify inefficiencies in workflows and turn them into repeatable, scalable systems. You'll provide feedback to engineering and product through testing, bug reporting, and process insights. You'll become an expert in private markets, AI tools, and Carta's ERP vision.

You'll be joining our auditable reporting services team, which supports multiple products and services including 409A Valuations, Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS) Attestations, Fund Tax, Venture Capital & Private Equity Implementations, VC Financial Reporting, Portfolio Data Collection, and Capital Call Lines of Credit. This 12-month program rotates you across these teams to build deep expertise in private capital operations while developing systems thinking and automation skills that directly improve how our customers manage complex financial workflows.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields (or equivalent experience). You'll have a strong interest in AI and automation, and a bias for action. You'll be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities. You'll have excellent verbal and written communication skills with diplomacy and poise under pressure. You'll be curious, competitive, and want to be excellent, not just get a job.
