Description

In this position, you will supervise, evaluate, and empower a team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts.

You will also drive to exceed personal/team/Company goals by holding self and team to high performance standards through servant leadership.

Additionally, you will build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams.

You will support peer team by training, coaching and developing newly hired and promoted Supervisors.

You will optimize throughput in accordance with budgets and cost objectives.

As a Senior Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations.

You will be a two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers.

You will be highly committed to continuous improvement applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset.

You will create a safety culture and apply and implement workplace policies.

You will administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively.

You will value different opinions & be open to ideas & perspectives from others.

You may have a Bachelor’s Degree, safety and quality experience, Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified, knowledge of constraint management principles, prior experience managing a unionized workforce, and a strong mechanical background.
