Description
We are seeking a seasoned Associate Director to join our Corporate Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic storytelling, using financial analysis and modelling to drive insights and influence business decisions. This individual will be instrumental in driving the financial planning and analysis capability across Anduril’s core businesses, synthesising large amounts of data to guide executive decision-making, and optimising financial performance.
Key responsibilities:
Set the financial operating calendar rhythm, internal team templates and deliverables, executive presentation preparation/dry-runs, and engage buy-in and alignment from cross-functional partners ahead of executive communications
Craft the narrative, translating complex financial data into compelling strategic narratives for the C-Suite and CFO, explaining the 'why' behind our performance, highlighting key trends, and framing insights to drive critical decision-making
Be a strategic partner, partnering closely with finance leaders in each Division to understand key operational drivers, analyse performance against plan, and provide insightful commentary that adds critical context to consolidated results
Build for scale, continuously improving and scaling our financial consolidation, reporting, and forecasting infrastructure, developing robust processes and models that can keep pace with Anduril’s dynamic growth
Own the forecast, running consolidated budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, synthesising business inputs into one financial outlook and surfacing risks, opportunities, and trade-offs for leadership
Drive capital strategy, partnering on capital allocation and corporate finance planning, evaluating investments, assessing returns on strategic initiatives, and helping leadership balance growth, efficiency, and discipline
Run the corporate finance engine, leading planning, cash flow, and performance management so leadership has a forward-looking view of the business and the financial implications of every strategic decision
Required qualifications:
10 years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance/FP&A, Consulting or Strategy
Strong financial acumen and proficiency in Excel/financial modelling
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, strong executive presence, and the ability to work seamlessly cross-functionally
Intellectually curious, seeking to understand the why behind the numbers and diving into operations as needed
Creative problem-solver, able to identify obstacles, present viable solutions, and create systems to improve future processes
Strategic storytelling with message discipline, crafting clear, executive-ready narratives leveraging multiple datasets
Action-oriented with end-to-end process ownership and high-quality work despite tight deadlines
Preferred to have DoD and/or Tech industry experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities
Must be authorised to work in the United States
Salary: $193,000-$220,000 USD
