Senior Global Sourcing Manager, PCB/PCBA

The Senior Global Sourcing Manager, PCB/PCBA is a domain expert for PCB/PCBA commodities at Anduril Industries. This role involves securing critical components, materials, and services that power products, developing new supplier partnerships, and improving existing ones.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute commodity strategies for PCB/PCBA and subassemblies, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience
• Deliver quality parts on time at the right cost
• Act as the sourcing expert for PCB/PCBA and subassemblies manufacturing
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing processes
• Own business relationships with external Contract Manufacturing and manage continuity of supply, risk management, cost negotiations, and NPI to MP operation execution
• Partner with Engineering teams and Contract Manufacturers to influence technical design specs and customize product and manufacturing requirements
• Analyze quote submissions and make data-driven decisions based on TCO
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support prototype requirements and execute against build milestones
• Influence CM's manufacturing processes and CapEx and technology decisions
• Negotiate key agreements with suppliers
• Provide strong technical direction within specific commodities
• Manage and lead operations efforts for developing new and adapting existing technologies
• Conduct regular technology reviews
• Own supplier performance management
• Act as the primary escalation for respective commodities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain category management of printed circuit board assembly and electronics manufacturing, and/or sourcing engineering
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Ability to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Previous experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or related industry
• Well-versed in TCO analysis
• Strategic thinker with experience in commodities strategy and roadmap development
• Proven leadership and collaboration skills
• Fluent in other cross-functional areas
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
