Senior Sourcing Engineer, Electronics

The Senior Sourcing Engineer, Electronics drives strategic supply network development and cost management for Anduril Imaging's electronics. This involves collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage electrical BOMs, component risk assessments, and alternate component sourcing paths
• Identify and mitigate supply-chain lead-time and sourcing risks, particularly for PCBA components
• Ensure scalability of electronics sourcing strategy as product lines scale to full production
• Conduct supplier selection and manage the approved supplier list
• Collaborate with suppliers on technical inquiries and resolve issues
• Work with the quality team to ensure AS9100 compliance
• Coordinate with the manufacturing team for technical data packages
• Streamline PCBA procurement processes with Anduril HQ's PCBA commodity team

The ideal candidate has:

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• 8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or electronics design
• Expertise in value and procurement engineering at the component and product level
• Ability to travel 10-25% for vendor on-site visits
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree, experience in PCBA sourcing, familiarity with PCBA fabrication and assembly processes, and knowledge of industry quality standards like IPC and J-STD.
