We are looking for a tech engineer to join the Selling Partner Identity Verification Tech team. This team works to identify, rectify, and prevent sellers from misrepresenting their identity throughout their account lifecycle.
The goal is to ensure customers can shop with trust, knowing every selling account on Amazon is operated by a verified and authenticated identity. This promotes a community built on mutual trust, transparency, and accountability.

A Day in the Life: As an engineer in this team, you will collaborate on designing new systems, review code, write new and update legacy software, work with business partners to define requirements, and drive better customer experiences.
You will also focus on operational excellence, identify issues in existing systems, propose and resolve solutions, and suggest process improvements to prevent future gaps.

Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems.
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
