Description

We are looking for a Product Safety Specialist to join our team in Duisburg. As a Product Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for acquiring, maintaining, and evaluating product safety-related raw material and formulation data. You will also ensure compliance with national regulations and standards related to chemicals and transport. Your tasks will include creating safety data sheets in SAP EHS, working on projects related to health, safety, and environment, and supporting the department in responding to inquiries from colleagues, customers, and authorities.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in chemistry or a related field, such as chemical laboratory technology or chemical technical assistance. You should have first-hand experience in creating safety data sheets and knowledge of chemical, hazardous materials, and waste regulations. Proficiency in MS Office 365 and experience with SAP or a similar system are also desirable.
