Description
As a physical therapist at Sanford Health and Good Samaritan Society, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating individuals with conditions that limit their ability to move and work. Your goal will be to improve their quality of life by alleviating pain and increasing physical function.
You will plan, organise and deliver physical therapy programs that help patients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities. You will also document patient information for evaluation, educate patients and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises, and analyse and record the therapeutic progress of patients.
The ideal candidate will have appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure, be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist, and obtain and maintain required department specific competencies and certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers is required or within the first 60 days of employment.
