Description
We are seeking an Ecosystem Sales Manager to lead major ecosystem partner initiatives and develop long-term strategic plans for ecosystem partner growth. As an Ecosystem Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading major ecosystem partner initiatives, developing long-term strategic plans for ecosystem partner growth, and interacting extensively with senior-level team members and major partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading major ecosystem partner initiatives and developing long-term strategic plans for ecosystem partner growth
- Interacting extensively with senior-level team members and major partners
- Influencing key strategic decisions and ecosystem partner performance
- Coordinating and facilitating the involvement of GitLab team members, including sales leadership, support, etc., as needed to ensure meeting sales targets and ecosystem sales objectives
- Building, maintaining, and managing relationships with the GitLab field sales organization
- Proactively engaging with GitLab AEs, ASMs, and geo leadership
- Working closely with local System Integrators, Solution providers, Managed Services Partners, and Hyperscalers (AWS & Google)
Requirements include:
- Experience selling software development tools and/or application lifecycle management solutions via strategic partnerships
- Strong network across the partner ecosystem in the Italy region
- Expertise in Partner Ecosystems in the Italy region and the Cloud market
- Experience selling open source solutions
- Experience with B2B sales
- Interest in GitLab and open source software
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to remain calm under pressure
- Established personal network within the industry
- Results-oriented perspective
- Ability to use GitLab
- Experience with Salesforce
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Fluency in English and Italian
