Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg A

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Med/Surg A unit at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist – Lexington Medical Center.

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practice. You will monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and adapt care to support optimal outcomes. You will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes, promoting safety, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting communication and delegation, and engaging in ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program
• Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific as applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Schedule:

• Day Shift
• Three, 12-hr shifts (7a-7p)
• Every third weekend required

Pay Range:

• $38.20 - $57.30
