Join our organisation as a Physical Therapist and play a vital role in helping clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities.
As a Physical Therapist, you will conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease. You will utilise tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, organising and delivering physical therapy programmes
- Conducting examinations, evaluations and interventions
- Documenting client information for evaluation and establishing therapeutic plans
- Educating clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises
- Demonstrating knowledge of current research and incorporating it into daily treatment
You will have the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders. You will also have the chance to participate in activities to promote the department, Good Samaritan Society and Sanford Health.
