We're seeking a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to join our Structural Analysis team. This role supports critical engineering projects across sea, ground, air, and space domains, ensuring the structural integrity and performance of our diverse product portfolio.
Key responsibilities include developing structural loads and environments for various company products, performing dynamics testing, and collaborating with hardware engineers to drive proper designs based on analytical results. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, and materials properties, as well as proficiency in FEA software and programming languages like Matlab or Python.
Key qualifications include a BS or higher degree in engineering or applied physics with a focus in structures, dynamic testing experience, and proficiency in FEA software and programming languages. Preferred qualifications include 8+ years of experience in a structures, dynamics, or loads related role, an MS or higher degree, and experience with rotorcraft and/or turbomachinery.
As a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring designs meet customer requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations. You will stay current with advancements in analysis techniques, materials technology, and industry standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence.
