Description
TGR Haas F1 Team, a stalwart of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, is seeking a Lifing Engineer to support the delivery of departmental and organisational objectives. The role is fixed-term for 8 months, focusing on lifing activities and ensuring continuity throughout the car build period.
The Lifing Engineer will be responsible for managing Part Lifing information, working with multiple factory and trackside teams, and ensuring part lifing identification and limits are set through the design process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing Part Lifing information within the Life Management System
- Ensuring accuracy and concurrency of Part Lifing across product design, build, and race activities
- Setting part lifing identification and limits through the design process
- Building and maintaining the Part Lifing Structure within the Life Management System
- Collaborating with factory and trackside teams to align serialized parts data
The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, experience in a general mechanical engineering environment, and preferably 4 years of experience in Lifing Management within an Automotive or Aerospace environment.
The role requires strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
