Description
We are seeking a high-reaching QA Team Leader (Mobile and Automation) to drive our native mobile app QA strategy, ensuring detailed execution and delivery of high-quality products. This role is crucial in shaping mobile QA at Aristocrat by using automation frameworks and collaborating with complementary teams.
The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end QA strategy for native mobile apps (iOS and Android), covering both manual and automated testing. They will define and implement a long-term automation architecture and roadmap using Appium, evolving it into a robust, production-ready framework.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating all QA activities for multiple customers, ensuring coverage, consistency, and high-quality delivery
- Setting up and tracking quality metrics, test coverage data, and release-readiness checkpoints
- Designing and reviewing functional, regression, and exploratory tests
- Collaborating with engineering, product, and customer success teams to ensure robust testing for new features, integrations, and performance
- Recruiting, mentoring, and handling QA engineers, with a mix of hands-on support and team enablement
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience in mobile app testing (native iOS and Android), confirmed experience building and scaling mobile automation frameworks from the ground up, and strong experience with Appium for mobile automation.
Additionally, they should have strong proficiency in Java, a strong understanding of Client/Server applications, outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience using agentic AI to create, maintain, and fix automated tests.
