Process Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Chihuahua, Mexico. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and improving the plant's controls strategy, troubleshooting automation problems, and conducting machine acceptance tests.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and following up on automation projects and installations using Vis Plant monitoring software
• Troubleshooting PLC, robot, and other automation problems
• Reprogramming automation for engineering changes and improvements
• Defining, designing, and maintaining the plant controls strategy
• Reviewing, approving, and loading machine controls software
• Conducting machine acceptance tests for new and retooled equipment

Requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls (RSLogix)
• Electrical background (electrician or technician)
• Related experience

Preferred qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 2+ years of related experience
• Strong problem-solving skills, including 8Ds, FMEAs, and DMAICs
• Ability to independently troubleshoot all body equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement
• Fanuc robot experience
• Kawasaki programming, RS Logics, Microsoft Office
