Description
We're seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at Black Hills Ortho & Spine. As a Physical Therapist, you will plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
Your responsibilities will include conducting examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease. You will also document client information, establish therapeutic plans, and modify them as necessary. Additionally, you will educate clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises to be continued at home.
You will work with individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders, demonstrating flexibility with variable work schedules and assignments. You will participate in activities to promote the department, Good Samaritan Society, and Sanford Health, interacting with individuals outside of the department, including providers, case managers, third-party payers, public organizations, companies/contractual partners, and others.
As a Physical Therapist, you will be expected to provide ongoing education and training to peers in the area(s) of expertise as determined by the department leadership. You will also perform other related duties as requested by your manager.
Based on facility needs and assigned locations, you may focus on those receiving intervention in the post-acute, long-term care, and home health care environments.
