Verification Engineer, Performance

NVIDIA is seeking a Verification Engineer, Performance to join their team in Bengaluru, India. The successful candidate will work on performance verification of CPUs and CPU fabrics.

The role involves developing test plans and strategies, creating simulation environments, and validating CPU and fabric performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer system architecture and operating system fundamentals.

Responsibilities:

• Development of test plans and strategies for CPU performance verification
• Creation of simulation environments and system bring-up
• Validation and automation of CPU and fabric performance
• Analysis of CPU and fabric performance to guide future product development
• Development of tool chains and workflows for full system performance alignment
• Competitive analysis of NVIDIA CPUs

Requirements:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• 3+ years of experience in CPU/SOC performance verification and analysis
• Strong understanding of computer system architecture and operating system fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with HDLs such as Verilog/System Verilog
• Knowledge of verification methodologies and tools for IP and SoC level verification
• Experience with System Verilog, C/C++, Python languages and relevant frameworks
• Background in debugging on Silicon

Preferred skills:

• Detailed knowledge of ARM and/or x-86 architecture
• Prior experience with performance analysis of CPUs
• Experience with analysis and characterization of CPU workloads
