We are seeking a Compliance Officer - Quant Trading to provide ongoing compliance advisory to our Firm's largest portfolio manager. The ideal candidate will have experience with addressing algorithmic/systematic trading matters, including model-based trading and investment/execution algorithms. This role involves addressing trading matters related to fully automated trading, assisting with the administration of our global Quantitative Trading Compliance program, monitoring regulatory changes, updates and industry-wide compliance initiatives, and assisting with regulatory examinations, inquiries, investigations and projects as necessary. The successful candidate will also assist with drafting and amending compliance-related policies and procedures, create presentation materials for senior management, prepare and conduct compliance trainings, and conduct ongoing compliance reviews.

The Compliance Officer - Quant Trading will work closely with our team to ensure that our Firm's quantitative trading activities are conducted in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical/conceptual problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate efforts across teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership and personal responsibility, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage deadlines.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 8+ years of experience, preferably at a regulatory authority, bank/broker or buy-side firm addressing compliance issues within algorithmic/systematic trading. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics or similar with a strong academic record is preferred. Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others.
