Finance Support - Alternant

At Polestar, we're accelerating the shift to sustainable mobility. We are looking for a Finance Support (Alternant) to join our Finance team for Southern Europe (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal), based in Puteaux – La Défense.

You will be part of the Controlling team (6 people) and report directly to the Southern Region CFO. You will contribute to key financial processes and support business decision-making across the region.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting monthly closing activities for France and the Southern Europe region
• Contributing to the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Performing variance analysis between actuals, forecasts, and budgets
• Monitoring and managing cost allocations in financial systems (Workday)
• Working with and developing expertise in group reporting tools (Workday, Qlik MPR, POMS)
• Acting as a business partner to Sales and Operations teams in France, supporting cost analysis and business case validation

We are looking for a motivated and analytical student looking for a work-study opportunity (alternance) of at least 24 months, starting in September 2026. You bring:

• Strong affinity with numbers and financial analysis
• Solid knowledge of finance and controlling fundamentals
• Advanced Excel skills, with interest in BI and financial tools
• A structured and detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to prioritize, take ownership, and work autonomously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

As you will quickly settle into the French team, knowledge of French is essential. Knowledge of Italian and Spanish is an asset.
