Description
As a physical therapist in the outpatient neuro therapy setting at Sanford South University location, you will diagnose and treat individuals with conditions that limit their ability to move and work. Your goal will be to improve their quality of life by alleviating pain and increasing physical function.
You will plan, organise, and deliver physical therapy programs that help patients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. You will document patient information for evaluation, educate patients and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises, and analyse and record the therapeutic progress of patients.
You will follow guidelines, regulations, standards, and safety procedures in the therapy process. You will also obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications, such as Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
