TGR Haas F1 Team, a stalwart of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, is seeking an Electronics Technician to join their team in Banbury, UK. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of departmental and organisational objectives.
The Electronics Technician will be responsible for the manufacture, maintenance, and testing of harnesses, sensors, and electronic assemblies at the factory. They will also assist with the management of the electronics workshop, ensuring all tooling, test equipment, and stock are maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manufacture, maintain, and test harnesses, sensors, and electronic assemblies
- Assist with workshop management and stock maintenance
- Support factory race and test car build
- Identify and report faults and quality deficiencies
- Develop and implement in-house test rigs and equipment
- Calibrate and test sensors and electronic assemblies
- Take ownership of Cirris harnesses testing in-house
- Contribute to defining Codes of Practice and operational processes
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared goals
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in racing car electrical and electronic systems, experience working in a high-level motorsport environment, and GCSE or High School diploma or equivalent.
